*UNICORN ALERT* Hi all! Preston here!  Everyone who has met me says I'm perfect but I'm just a regular guy ... I don't know what the fuss is all about .. I'm a 1.5 yr old Georgia mutt... not too big not too small and around 50lbs. A little about me... I was in and out of the shelter until I was lucky enough to be pulled into rescue. After I spent some time getting healthy I went to live with some amazing ladies from a prison program in Georgia. I thrived there and learned so much. I walked out of there with my head held high and believing in myself alot more.  Everyone cried when I left and I admit that I did too. I am just so grateful to have shared a little bit our healing journey together with those ladies. I will never forget. I currently live with 3 fur friends who I enjoy very much. I will match the energy in the room and can be loud and rough and tumble or calm, gentle and submissive depending on who wants to play. I really do like them but it is human interaction that I truly crave . I like to be touching my foster mom... I will sit in her lap when she let's me...i love it but she says it's no good for her "hot flashes" whatever that is...my favorite thing is twice a week I get to sleep in bed with her , the rest of the time I sleep with everyone else on the couch. I am house and crate trained, I've mastered walking on leash. I don't wreck stuff, except squeakers!! I really love balls and I'm learning to play "fetch" not "keep away". I know sit, lay down, stay, come, drop it and "uh uh"....i listen so well I will do what Mom says even when she's not talking to me! I love car rides, walks/runs in any weather and seeing new things. I also enjoy naps on the couch...all day naps if that's on the agenda!  Kids are fun and I think I wouldn't mind cats...I will follow the other dogs when they chase squirrels and birds but only half heartedly because I don't really know what the plan is. I don't sit and stare out the window at them like they do either. I eat with the gang and sit and wait until everyone is finished before checking out their bowls . Well that's about it i think but my foster Mom wanted to say a few words... " I am crying as I write this... Preston is a wonder.... He hasn't made a wrong move since he's been with me. I swear he can read my mind . He has been such a gentleman and assimilates to the vibe of the room. He's so fun and funny and you will know when he's excited or proud of himself by how he will literally prance around... I will miss that the most. He is unique, smart, loyal, affectionate and VERY handsome. He has the most soulful eyes and facial expressions. So many people have been a part of his journey and I am grateful to be one of them... knowing him, even for a short time, we all say the same thing... he's perfect.
