Introducing Lucia!

 

Lucia is a one year old spayed Mexi-mutt, approximately 40 lbs, and is looking for her forever home.  She can be the only dog, however, she is in love with her foster brother, so would do best with another dog pal.

 

Lucia gets along with other dogs, big and small, and is great with kids.  She is currently living with a kitten as well, and would be okay with an adult cat who is not afraid to put her in her place.  With the kitten, she loves to chase it and try to chew on it!  She is good with people, once she is comfortable with them.  New people in her space make her anxious, especially men, but give her time to get used to them and she is looking for scratches and love.

 

Lucia is very attached to her people, and wants to be with you all the time.  Her foster does work, and she is fine on her own, but she will follow you around everywhere while you are home.  She is crate trained, but really does not enjoy going in it, and prefers to be on her bed, the furniture, or pressed up against you in bed at night.

 

Lucia is fairly active, and would do best with a fenced in yard where she can run around to her hearts content and burn off energy. If in a setting with no yard she will need multiple walks per day.

 

She is a smart little girl, and knows how to sit, shake a paw, and lay down.  Her foster has been working on come with her, and she is doing pretty well with that, especially if you have a healthy treat in hand for her! 

 

Lucia is on a raw diet, and must remain on it.  She has food sensitivities and cannot be on a kibble diet.  She loves to sample all sorts of fruits as well.
