Hi everyone!! Peanut here!... I'm a 3 yr old , 20lb Dachshund mix and my foster Mom says I'm not coming out of my shell as fast as they had hoped , so it's probably best I continue to learn to trust people with my new forever family. I had a rough go before coming to Canada from Georgia ..I was hurt and I'm just so nervous to get hurt again...I really try though and I'm enjoying sitting or laying down close to the kids and my foster dad. Women make me scared so I'm slowly trying to let my foster Mom pet me. I really, really love my fur siblings and we have a lot of fun together. I make my own fun too..I will hoard and steal anything not locked down!! I don't chew things but I do love having a stockpile of stuff!! I love my crate as it is my safe place. Walks are fun and so are car rides. I just really need a family with a lot of patience ...one who will give me the time and understanding I need for me to come out of my shell and put the past behind me...it will be worth it I promise.
