Hi all! I’m Merry Belle, I’m a 3 year old house hippo who just made her way her from Georgia last month.

Foster mom says that I am the most kind, cutest and silly girl you will ever meet. My many faces and adorable personality will always have you smiling. Don’t worry, if that doesn’t work, I will snort my way into your heart.

I have lived with other dogs and absolutely love them all. I am patient, kind and I want nothing more then to play and give tons of kisses. My ideal forever should have another dog who I can make my best friend. I also love all people I meet and because of my sweet personality, I’d be great with kids of any ages.

I love car rides, playing with ropes, balls and puzzles, exploring, sitting and watching and never ending belly rubs. I am housetrained, good on leash and know all my basic commands. I have been working on my crate training and though I’ll eventually fall asleep, it might take me a lot of convincing and treats to get me there.
