Ruby here!! My foster family tells me I am a stunning girl and that my pictures don't do me justice! I am about 2 years old and I weigh around 80lbs.
I am currently being fostered with 3 dogs. I need a slower introduction to meet dogs because I am scared. I may have a big bark but I am a sweetheart. Once I get to know them I even do some zoomies!
There is an 8 year old boy at my foster home. I like him a lot. I am large so older kids would be best. NO cats for me please!
I do not like to share my food or prized possessions like bones with other dogs. I was very, very thin when I came here. I was even thinner when I was rescued in Manitoba. My Manitoba Foster family started the process to help me gain weight and be healthy. My Foster family in Ontario has helped me get to a healthy weight. My foster families could see all of my ribs and bones so that's probably why I don't like to share my prized possessions like bones.My foster brothers (the furry ones) and I all sit together when we come in from the yard and get our treats together. I am fine with that.
I am getting used to car rides but I going to be honest they aren't my favorite thing to do. I do love walks. My Foster family lives in a rural area so we don't see a lot of dogs or distractions on our walks.
I have a wish list for my forever home.
●A fenced yard because I love to watch for and chase squirrels
●Walks! I am walking very well with a head halty but I am very strong. I will want to try to chase squirrels!
●Treats! I am very food motivated

I am very smart and need someone to continue my training
In return I promise to love you unconditionally ❤️. When I love, I love hard. I want to be with my Foster family all the time. There is a puppy here and I have taken a liking to the little guy. I have tolerance for his shenanigans but I will let him know when I have had enough.
I am housetrained. I have learned to sit while my foster parents put my food dish down and wait for them to tell me go for my food. The only time I drool is when my food dish is ready for me. I don't like the crate but I am non-destructive when left alone. I don't need to be crated. I spayed, microchipped, and up to date on my vaccines. I am protective of my yard and like to check it for squirrels and anything out of the ordinary .
Nobody is sure, but if I I had to guess, I think I am a Chocolate Lab and Cane Corso X.
