Hello world, I am Willow!

I honestly love every four-legged and two-legged critter I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. Young and old, I adore EVERYONE! My foster siblings include a giant Great Dane, StanLee, a spirited Staffy named Nava, and an unfussed feline named Eddy. We are all buds. I am approximately 4 months old and I am a smart and sassy little lady with soulful eyes and expressive ears. While I have been hanging out and freeloading at my foster home, I have impressed my foster mama with how quickly I learned ‘sit’, ‘on your bed,’ and ‘stay.’ I also learned right away, to pee on command, but I do still have accidents in the house if foster mom doesn’t notice me starting to sniff around. While foster mom goes out, I hang out in my crate with a kong and some toys. I don’t love it, and foster mama says I will never be an accountant because I managed to reach a pile of her receipts for her taxes one day, and I had quite a party. But I do not destroy my toys or blankets in the crate. At night I sleep in a crate in her room and I settle in with my giant bear stuffy. I do wake mom up once in the night to go pee, but now it’s more because she lets me sleep on her bed after this early morning pee break. I snuggle right in and go back to sleep with a sigh and a big smile on my face. Life is good. Foster mama thinks that due to the size of my paws, I will be a bigger grown-up dog (maybe 60ish lbs). I have lots of love and energy and would love some fur and skin siblings to play with. Cats are fine, I am curious and playful but I don’t want to harm them. I am learning to play fetch, and I am already better than Nava at bringing the toy back. I do not like to walk on a leash, I freeze like a puppy statue. So we are working on that.
