Hello world! Name's Marvin...nice to meet you! I came to my wonderful foster family from Ottawa... I came from a barn where there were probably hundreds of us. It was so scary but I am just so grateful to be out of there. I am around 18 months old and as you can see I am part poodle.. everyone thinks there's some Saint Bernard mixed in.. I haven't quite filled out yet but I weigh 80lbs or so.. I'm neutered and up to date on my vaccines. I'm also fully housebroken.. going doodoo in the house is gross. My world was pretty small up until now so I'm quite nervous meeting new people and animals. I will bark a bit at first but once I feel like everything is ok I warm up quickly. The car is VERY scary. My safe place is my crate so I willingly go in whenever I'm asked to and I sleep soundly in there overnight. I live with 2 other dogs who I enjoy playing with. I am submissive with them and very respectful... I will listen to their signals to avoid any conflict. While they enjoy hanging out in the backyard with each other, I would much rather hang with my people and play fetch which I LOVE!! I haven't met any kids yet but I'm a big bouncy boy so I might knock them down by accident if they are little. I'm still trying to get a handle on this walking on a leash thing... I'm just nervous on walks so my head is on a swivel and I'm a bit all over the place... I'd really like to start to relax and enjoy my walks but I will really need some support and help with that. My foster Mom says I am a very friendly and affectionate boy. I really crave the company of my family and always keep them in my sight. I'm looking for a family or person that will continue to help me build confidence.. someone who will welcome my affection and devotion and borderline neediness.  In return I will give you my all...
