Meera, Meera on the wall, whose the prettiest Great Dane of them all?

You guessed it! It’s me, Meera Everyone who meets me tells me I’m such a pretty girl, who has the sweetest disposition.

I recently arrived from Taiwan the beginning of December and have been settling in with my other fur-siblings quite well. I am approximately 6 years old. I have loved all dogs and people I have met so far, and only give a growl if another dog is getting too close to my Kong, but I don’t mind my humans taking it away from me at all.

I like to live life in the slower lane with a few short walks & all the couch naps in between. I can be shy due to my unknown past, but I often warm up quickly once I know I can trust you. One of my favourite treats are when my foster humans give me stuffed Songs, or lick matts with yummy treats in them. That can keep me occupied for hours!

Though I am on the larger side (roughly 125 lbs), I am gentle with my movements and don’t require a ton of space. I tried the stairs a few times here at my foster home, but I prefer to stay on the main level (where the couch is).

When I’m excited foster mom tells me I get “tippy tappy happy toes” where I prance on the spot with excitement! Usually in response to a treat or walk.

I am searching for my fur-ever home in a quiet household where I can rest my days away & love on my people. I would prefer a backyard that is fenced, but I do have wonderful recall if it isn’t (you will just need to spend some time to teach me where I can and can’t wander). I would also do just fine in an apartment with walks to stretch my long legs.
